In my world, drawing falls in the category of dessert, a soothing endeavor with a quiet that is opposite many other activities. Drawing is a form of meditation. 

Fighting coal trains led me to more and more contemplation, concern, anxiety about pollution of the Universe and all the junk we are leaving everywhere we touch. I became intrigued with what I call “Viral Load.” This notion guided me along a path that was evermore expanding. I began with pollution out in space and ended up with “Viral Man.” This began in 2008.
