While the principle of balance is inescapable in the field of design, I decided one summer to focus my vision, and investigate simple form that accentuated balance. Most of the works in this group share a similar approach to material: cut, carved, assembled, Black Walnut.  Color is used sparingly, providing an additional accent to the chosen focus of balance.
